I’m looking for a housemate to share a modern two bedroom townhouse in Preston right near Bell station (less than 5 minute walk) and close to shops and Preston market.

For $225 a week + bills ($975 pcm) you get a decent size bedroom with built in robe, a small study of your own, and off street parking.

House has mod cons including air con, gas heating, gas cooking, dishwasher, claw-foot bath and washing machine. I’ve lived there a year so its already furnished with all the necessities.

It has a small grassy backyard with fish-pond, vegies + herbs, and BBQ which is great for summer.

The lease is secure up till October 2012.

A bit about me:
30 year old, female. I’m pretty quiet, relaxed and friendly and am looking for someone independent, mature, reliable and relatively tidy.

I enjoy having friends over occasionally for a BBQ or dinner but I generally like life to be fairly quiet and low-key and am hoping to share with someone similar. I spend some nights at my partner’s house so you’ll get the place to yourself some of the time.

I work four days a week as a graphic designer at a not-for-profit humanitarian organisation which I love. I enjoy gardening and cooking and spending time in the garage working on creative projects.
